Catechetical Set

Novice catechists and school religion teachers will build a firm foundation with practical teaching ideas. Each of the three catechetical modules--Getting Started as a Catechist, Roles of the Catechist, and The Person of the Catechist--can be completed in four 30- to 45-minute sessions.

Methodology Set

Engaging sessions from the five methodology modules give teachers and catechists an understanding of the learner's needs and help develop the teaching skills for effective catechesis at each grade level. Each of the methodology modules--Introduction to the Learner, Methods for Grades 1 and 2, Methods for Grades 3 and 4, Methods for Grades 5 and 6, and Methods for Grades 7 and 8--can be completed in four 30- to 45-minute sessions.

Theology Set

The theology set is perfect for any adult group. Your catechists, teachers, and adult learners will review the pillars of the Catechism and Scripture while hearing real-life stories that connect church teaching to everyday life. Five modules make up the theology set, and each can be completed in four 60- to 90-minute sessions. The theology set includes I Believe/We Believe (Creed), Liturgy and Sacraments, Catholic Morality, Prayer and Spirituality, and Introduction to the Scriptures.
